Hi Joshua, I’m trying to find a compass that can make 40 to 52-inch circles. My husband is getting started in woodworking and would like to know where he might possibly find one.
I was looking online for different woods and all for him as I have started a notebook for him for different tools and all. I found your page when I was looking for ideas.
Thank you,
Michelle

Thanks for the kind words Skipper! Your Lie-Nielsen smoothing plane will work great, but make sure you don’t buy an expensive jack plane. See my handplane guide for clarification: https://woodandshop.com/woodworking-hand-tool-buying-guide-handplanes/
Loved the collapsible Viking Camp Chair. Thanks for giving me a project to do with my grandsons when they come over this weekend. They are going to love it and then they have a gift for their parents that they made themselves.
Great Henry! Could you please share a photo of your finished chair on our forum? https://woodandshop.com/forum/
